Retractable Shade Sails for Inner-city Home
Aalta supplied and installed two Shaderunner® retractable shade sails in the courtyard of this gorgeous inner-city home in Sydney.
The two Shaderunners were mounted onto an existing pergola structure on a 2-degree sideways pitch towards the centre to allow some water run-off in light rain. A central gutter and downpipe were installed to harvest the water away from the courtyard and into storm water.
The Shaderunners are easy to operate by simply drawing on the cord and tying it off on a cleat to retract it or extend it.
